When and where is the banquet?
Date: Thursday, September 24, 2026
Location: Avalon Manor Banquet Center, Merrillville, Indiana
Doors Open: 5:00 PM
Program Begins: 6:00 PM Sharp

Absolutely—and we encourage you to celebrate this achievement.
Share the news with your company, family, friends, and professional network. Post on LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram and tag NWIIWA using #NWIIWA.
How are finalists categorized as Influential or Up & Coming?
Influential Woman: Typically 15 or more years within her profession or industry.
Up & Coming Woman: Typically fewer than 15 years of professional experience.
Final placement is determined by NWIIWA’s review committee to ensure consistency, fairness, and alignment across all categories.
How does the judging process work?
Applications are evaluated by respected past award recipients and industry leaders.
Each judge submits confidential scoring sheets that are independently tabulated and securely maintained until the awards banquet.
NWIIWA does not select winners and award results are never released in advance.
Do I need a ticket to attend the banquet?
Yes. All nominees and guests must purchase a ticket to attend.
Member pricing is extended to all finalists.
Tickets are available at www.nwiiwa.org.
This event traditionally sells out. We encourage finalists, family members, colleagues, and supporters to secure tickets early.
How does seating work at the banquet?
Tables seat ten guests.
Groups wishing to sit together should purchase tickets together whenever possible.
Guests purchasing fewer than ten tickets may be seated with other attendees.
Children are welcome (recommended age 10+) but must have their own ticket.
What if cost is a concern?
We never want cost to prevent someone from celebrating this achievement.

How will I be recognized at the banquet?
All finalists are recognized live during the awards presentation alongside others within their category.
Your name and company will also appear in the event presentation, printed program, and related media coverage.
